Jameel Welfare Trust 2023 Overview

We have had a tremendous 2023 expanding our reach to those who needed us the most. Small acts of kindness that made a positive difference ... thanks to the support of our wonderful trust red partners, volunteers and donors.

Some of the things we have done include:

1.Supported struggling families with funds to provide medical and essential supplies in Bangladesh in partnership with our trusted partners Mukhlis Ibnali Foindation.

2.Supported British Heart Foundation, Dementia UK and Cancer Research UK.

3.Delivered aid via Al Khair Foundation to those afflicted by the severe earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria.

4.Delivering aid via Al Khair Foundation to those in desperate need in Gaza.

5.Provided excellent clothes, books and toys to the students and teachers of IPS Bhera, Pakistan.

6.Served Ramadhan food packages for widows and their children in Swat, South Asia working with our partners Mujahid Towali and Shahbaz Khan.

7.Regularly provided hot meals and drinks for the orphans of Entebbe Rd Uganda in partnership with Tahfeem Welfare Trust thanks to our trusted partners Hibeya and Mariam.

8.Planted mango trees in KOTINYANGA Uganda together with Unity Charity Foundation.

9.Sponsored a successful interfaith iftar at Madina Masjid Sheffield in collaboration with Madina Masid committee for the community across all faiths and walks of life.

10.Teamed up with Fare Share cost of living crisis appeal to provide 100 meals to vulnerable people every month, who would otherwise be at risk of hunger.

11. Supported orphans in Sialkot Pakistan with food and supplies.

12. Provide funds to enable seriously ill people to receive urgent and necessary medical care .

13.Supported the flood victims of Catcliffe and Treeton with non perishable food, toiletries, pet food, cleaning supplies, clothes, furniture and moral support.

In the past 365 days we have sustained our coverage to 9 countries and helped over 7,300 people ... that's approximately 20 people per day for each day we have been operating in 2023.

We believe that if we can do something kind for someone, each time we count our own blessings then we may not change the world but we will certainly change someone's world for the better.
